If you want me to shoot your star then please let me know as soon as you can. I will take photos all season long so let me know and I will get started as early in the season as I can.

I will attend as many Humboldt High sporting events as my busy schedule will allow me. Of course home games are easy to make and when I can I will try to travel to the road games too. Just let me know that you are interest in sports action photos of your sports star and I will shoot them for the whole season. The earlier you let me know you are interested, the more images I can obtain. At the end of the season I will put all of my photos of your star on a CD and you can purchase that CD for $25. I guarantee your CD will have at least 25 images of your star on it. Quite often my season long CDs will have at least 75 to 100 images on it. Some will be of the player in the game and some may show the player talking with the coach or just watching the game from the bench. I can also build collages of your sports star in action. An 8" x 10" photo collage is just $15. My "focus" will be on a set of quality images and not just a quick set of photos to get 25 on one disk. If you prefer a brag book or photo album of 4" x 6" prints I can provide that too. An album of 34, 4" x 6" prints, will be $20.

If you need a recommendation on a quality on line printing company I suggest Walmart.com or Snapfish.com. I do not recommend Wal Mart's kiosk machine. I have compared Wal Mart's kiosk machine to their 1 hour upload through Walmart.com and Snapfish.com by having the same image printed by all three. There is a noticeable difference between the kiosk machine and Walmart.com and Snapfish.com. The kiosk machine is the most expensive of the three and in my opinion, it offers the worst in quality of print. I often carry these prints with me so if you see me at a game just ask and I will show them to you.

The Lady Cubs had a special 2009 season. They won the Lindsey Friederich Memorial Tournament and they won the Regionals and advanced to State.

They did it with great pitching.

Great hitting.

Great base running.

And great defense.

The 2009 Lady Cubs went to State.

They played hard.

And they had fun.

And they finished 2ed in State.

The HHS Cubs also earned a trip to State.

And showed everyone they belonged there.

And they finished 3rd in State.

It was a great 2009 season for the Cubs and Lady Cubs.

I can often take pictures of the players in the dugout.

Or on the side lines. Yes, that is the Moon in the background.

I like making collages of the Humboldt Cubs sports stars.

These collages look great framed and they can also be used in memory or scrap books.

My Sports Collages seem to be popular. This is a good example of my work.

And I like this one too.

These are examples of a different kind of collage. If they look like a magazine cover then I did a good job.

Daytime football is easy to shoot.

Night time football games can be a challenge. Football fields are so big and there is not much light to work with but I can get the shots. This photo was taken at a night time game and I did not use a flash! I keep my flash turned off and locked down at basketball and football games. I don't want to distract a player by using flash photography.

Even this shot was taken without a flash.

I call this one my Friday Night Lights photograph.

Team collages are neat too. With digital photography and image processing once I have the photograph, my job is only half way done. Titles, dates, lettering, and team logos add to the photograph.

So set back and watch your star play for the Cubs,

Or the Comets.

and let me handle the Sports Photography.

There is a sport for every season.

And I made a few trips to Wichita to shoot some volleyball players from Friends University and Ottawa University.

Even the Summertime when school is out.

And I enjoy watching the Cubs play. I also enjoy chatting with the Cub Tracks staff photographers but they need to beware! I enjoy taking pictures of them taking pictures.

I like the Royals and I try to go to a few games every year. I took Miranda to the Seattle game on the 17th of September. It was a night game and I left my flash at home. I was able to get some good shots from the seats.

And I even caught John Buck sliding in to second base. He is kicking up a bit of dirt with his foot too.

Should I have asked for a sports pass? Maybe they would have let me in the photographer's booth!

This young man told me that after I put the blur effect on the photo that he thought it looked like a publicity photo ready for him to sign for his fans.

How about this one. It shows Darrell going in for a dunk. I was setting about a third of the way up off the baseline on the other end of the court when I took this photo. I was setting baseline and not even side court!

Oh, by the way. Darrell clanked it off the iron and blew the dunk but they did win a National Championship later.

I attended an early season game in December of 2008.

Hopefully I will get to see these guys play for a National Championship too.

If you need to chat with me catch me at any of the games or call me at 473-3786 or send me an e-mail at  myerphotography@cox.net
